University Students’ take on Modern Cities Traffic Congestion Problems

A series of trainings for students from different Lebanese universities on sustainable cities and public transportations within the Lebanese context.

The capacity building sessions within the Green Leadership Academy in its third version have come to an end. During this summer, students from different Lebanese universities took part in this academy co-organized by FES Lebanon and the Association of Forest Development and Conservation.

Students attended training sessions that tackled sustainable development in cities specifically public transportation. These sessions are part of a program that extends over a period of 5 months where the participants will be implementing events in their universities to highlight the lessons learned from the academy, share the knowledge acquired as well as raising awareness within their community.

The program of the academy will be officially concluded by the end of November as the participants will be shortly submitting proposals for community give-back projects to contribute in solving transportation issues.
