Social Media Training at FES Beirut

FES organized a two days Social Media training for its partner NGOs.

This workshop that was implemented at the FES new office premises' Conference room was designed for social media managers enabling them to create content driven strategies that will render communication and advertising more efficient.

The training included an introduction to social media, strategic conceptualization and targeting, writing for social media, utilizing advertising tools, creating video content, and more. The objective is to help with increasing engagement opportunities through different platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn.

The three core areas of the training were:

  • Developing a practical social media strategy that complements an organization’s overall mission and values.
  • Exploring social media tools and strategies relevant to the social, economic and cultural contexts an organization operates in.
  • Using measuring metrics to track impact of your social media work and campaigns.
